Spend 72 hours at SeaSpace: The family edit

Big beach days, belly laughs, and bedtime movies. Want to squeeze joy out of every SeaSpace second? Here’s an itinerary for the ultimate family break:

Day 1: Recharge and explore

Rustle up breakfast in your fully-kitted kitchen, whether it’s toast and cereal or the works – you’ll find everything you need to get the day started. Because let’s face it, kids on holiday don’t sleep in.

Start slow with a coffee or smoothie from SeaSpace café while the kids get lost in the maze. Reunite and follow the nature trail together – check the bug hotel, spot butterflies and wander through wildflowers.

Kids still got beans? Let them loose on the swings, balance beams and the pirate ship in the adventure playground, while you nurse another coffee (why not make it iced this time?) and take in blue-sky views.

Fuel up with superfood salads, pancake stacks and Cornish-stuffed sandwiches in the bright café space (indoors or out). Linger with a deck of Uno or a game from the shelf.

Time for indoor family play. Choose from the indoor pool or outdoor padel. Or pause with a book while the kids hit the games room for Lego, jigsaws, darts and table football.

Coast to town for dinner. Beryl bike (13 mins), walk (50 mins), or drive (8 mins) to Rosa for an Italo-American feast with mini golf on the side.

Tip: Get there by 5ish for 18 holes of family fun in the sun, before fried lasagna (a must-try) and pizzetta. Cocktails on the golf course are a must.

Walk ten minutes to Fistral Beach or the Huer’s Hut for sunset (you might even spot dolphins from the latter). Then back to HQ by car or taxi.

Day 2: All-out family beach day

Get up with the sun or take it slow with coffee in bed. Large studios make it easy to slide the kids’ door shut and lounge in your space.

Wander five minutes to Porth beach for flaky pastries and Cornish coffee from R.Place. Best enjoyed with feet in the sand. Sea dip optional, but recommended.

Back at SeaSpace load up for a full-throttle beach day at the Wavehunters hire locker: bodyboards, wetsuits, or even a portable SUP.

Play hard on Porth Beach. Tide in? Paddle out on your SUP or ride the ripples on your bodyboards. Tide low? Buy buckets and nets beachside at Sunnyside for hours of rockpooling adventures.

Grab cones with all the toppings from The Hole in Wall, bang on the beach. Or wait until the stroll back and stop at The Jampen for Callestick ice cream and a round of football golf, just a few footsteps from SeaSpace. Deckchairs and Cornish ales available for parents.

Tear-and-share pizzas await at TALLO. Eat with a sea view and cocktails in hand, or take it back to your room.

Day three: Salt path treasure hunt

Breakfast your way in your kitchen apartment. Jazz it up with a smoothie or barista coffee from the café. Fancy a pre-breakfast dip or a few pool laps? You’ve got time.

Head north along the South West Coast Path for a geocache treasure hunt – the perfect incentive for a family stomp in the sea air. It’s around two miles to Watergate Bay, but allow 1.5 hours to factor in view-gawping and time to find the hidden cache on Porth Headland.

Refuel surfside at The Beach Hut on Watergate Bay. With Extreme burgers, scones the size of your head and hot chocolates stacked with whipped cream and marshmallows on the menu, you’ll have plenty of energy for the walk back to HQ. If you haven’t, hop back on the top deck of the Atlantic Coaster bus.

Wrap up in blankets on the headland for a natural light show, or dive into your studio’s big screen setup for a classic family movie.
