72 hours at SeaSpace: The wellbeing edit

Meditation apps, HIIT marathons, juice cleanses? Meh. Real wellbeing is simpler than that. Movement, mindfulness, ocean therapy, and food that fuels. Try our 72-hour reset and feel it for yourself. Screens off. SeaSpace on.

Day one: Rise and reset

Sunrise yoga. Ease into morning with a flow made for early starts in the SeaSpace studio. Breathwork, gentle movement, calming tunes. Set your intention for the day – and your stay – and leave revitalised and ready to go.

Fuel up with a granola bowl and an açai kick smoothie in the SeaSpace café. Packed with antioxidants and anti-inflammatory benefits, açai gives a natural energy boost, ideal for getting out and at it.

Step north along the coast path to Watergate Bay (two miles). Sweeping views to Trevose Head are sure to quiet the brain-whir and stop you in your tracks. Take a breath on the headland, grab your notebook, and spend a moment journalling.

Your prompt:
Leave one thing here. Take one thing back.
Quick. Clear. No overthinking. Go.

Kick your shoes off when you hit the sand. Run your toes through the shallows or dare to dive in head first. Both deserve the reward of a wave-side sauna. Crank up the heat and circulation, while sweating out any stress you carried along the coast path.

Still holding tension? Try something different to shake it off. Somara's sound bath sessions, just footsteps from SeaSpace, deliver a deep hum-in-your-bones reset with zero effort required.

Wind down with the evening stretch and mobility class at SeaSpace, before soulful Italo-American plates at Tallo. A superfood-stuffed grains and green salad with a 0% spritz will leave you energised for tomorrow’s feel-good adventures.

Day two: Ocean flow

Grab a blanket and coffee from SeaSpace café (or make one in your fully-kitted out kitchen if you’re up super early) and find a spot in the grounds to see sunrise over the fields.

In winter and spring the pink skies and golden light are something else, so don’t forget your camera.

Check out sunrise times in 2026 so you can time your coffee right and be sure to capture a snap for the Feed.

Morning Pilates. Core work and balance drills you’ll be thankful for when it’s time for the afternoon surf session.

Go for the green smoothie fix at the SeaSpace café. Packed with spinach and spirulina, it’s fuel for a morning on the move.

Hit the waves with a surf lesson at Watergate Bay (two mins drive). Wavehunters’ coaches strip it back to basics: have fun, stay present, enjoy the wipeouts. Ocean therapy and belly laughs guaranteed.

Relieve post-surf muscles with evening stretch and flow yoga back at SeaSpace, followed by reviving laps of the 19m indoor pool. Finish in the hot tub at sunset. You've earned it.

Day three: The art of slowing down

Easy does it with chill yoga flow in the SeaSpace studio. Wander down in your slippers. Breathe. Stretch. Nothing too demanding.

Hop on a Beryl e-bike to Nalu Coffee House (10 mins) and power up with a poke- or protein bowl. Pair it with a matcha latte for a metabolism boost minus the jitters.

Take it slow. Stroll Newquay’s town beaches from Tolcarne to the harbour, collecting pebbles, shells and seaweed. Make some beach art if you feel like it. Need inspiration? Local sand artist Tony Plant loves to leave his stamp on the bay.

Intense heat, cold plunge and sound vibrations. A sauna and sound bath at Newquay Harbour means a full body and mind reset. You’ll float back to SeaSpace feeling properly grounded.

Head to the cliffs right outside your front door for sunset. Porth Island (20 mins walk) offers an unrivalled view. Bring a flask of Green Tea and spend a moment noticing what’s shifted since day one. Take it home with you.

Check the SeaSpace events calendar for reset retreats, meditation and breath workshops to tie into your break.
